چکیده
Urban soils are the most vulnerable component of current terrestrial ecosystem. Due to anthropogenic influence, various pollutants can accumulate in and have a negative effect on health citizens. As result degradation permafrost landscapes, disappearance number natural ecosystems, as well urban areas, is possible. In course development thermokarst processes, problems arise environment with destruction buildings decrease agricultural areas. The ecosystem Yakutsk city located valley Lena River represents largest urbanized biotope, permafrost-affected bioclimatic geogenic conditions. This work relevant datasets physico-chemical, toxicological agrochemical state soil cover components functional zones city. An 3excess maximum threshold levels for Zn was noted area active mining within borders. From data obtained pollution state, polluted zone quarry complex relative proximity other studied areas city, there no excess permissible trace elements. According analysis, relatively low content available elements comparison cities zone.

Preserving Microbial diversity of Soil ecosystem: A key to sustainable productivity
A global concerns focus on environmental protection and natural resource management. The sustainability of natural resources has taken central stage amongst researchers, the public and policy makers as a key issue in global change and biodiversity preservation. Need has risen to develop an understanding of microbial diversity responsible for variable reaction in different soil orders. There is ...
متن کاملCharacteristics of road traffic injuries in the second largest city of Iran
Objective: Road traffic injuries (RTIs) are the second leading causes of death in Iran. One of the most important steps in the prevention of traffic-related trauma and its consequences is gaining insight into the epidemiology of injuries. We conducted this study to describe the characteristics of RTIs and to find strategies for its prevention. Methods: This wa...
متن کاملPoints, patches, and regions: scaling soil biogeochemical patterns in an urbanized arid ecosystem
Cities are rapidly growing throughout the world and are altering biologic processes in many regions, with global consequences. Urbanization in the Phoenix, USA metropolitan region has dramatically altered regional ecosystem patterns, but little is known about how these changes have influenced soil organic matter, total nitrogen, and the distribution of nitrogen stable isotopes. Because urban de...

متن کاملSoil microbes regulate ecosystem productivity and maintain species diversity.
One of the major goals in ecology is to determine the mechanisms that drive the asymptotic increase in ecosystem productivity with plant species diversity. Niche complementarity, the current paradigm for the asymptotic diversity-productivity pattern, posits that the addition of species to a community increases productivity because each species specializes on different resources and thus can mor...
